I don’t recall endorsing Nike shoes — or claiming support or condemnation of underage slave labor — anywhere in my post, but that I certainly believe those adjacent topics are worth writing about for an author (perhaps you?) with the time, interest or expertise to go deep on them in a public post, especially if they feel those points aren’t being represented enough in the media they’re consuming.

I appreciate you expressing your thoughts on what you feel I’m worrying about, Alex. And thank you for taking the time to read and comment! I’ll be checking out some of your stories as well :)

What are some brands you feel good about supporting and especially like that you’d recommend I check out? What are some advertisements you’ve found effective and evocative from a copy standpoint?
